QUICK TAKE: Featuring old-school platform gameplay and classic characters, Warren Spector (Deus Ex, System Shock) gives Mickey Mouse a modern twist with clever gameplay and motion controls. Epic Mickey grabs you with its stylish art and keeps you in its world with its novel “paint and paint thinner” game mechanics.
Out of all the third-party games at Nintendo’s E3 2010 booth, Disney Epic Mickey generated the most interest. It’s easy to understand why–a renowned developer crafting a game based on an iconic character that has underachieved in the videogame world is a curiosity. The gameplay on display in Nintendo’s booth was unique and interesting enough…

How would you even tell if the brain of everyone’s favourite hyper-kinetic rabbity thing had been stolen? Well, the gaping cavity is certainly one clue but he just seems less peppy.

Other bonuses include an audio commentary track by series star developers Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman.
The trailer reveals that <a href=”http://www.shacknews.com/reviews/game.x/89…

We have received reports that an insidious alien power is tainting the reputation of our wholesome American oil with its own foreign fluids. We do not yet known the face behind this fiendish plot but rest assured that FBI agent William Carter is on the case.
Armed with Personal Computer and Xbox 360 technology and assisted by 2K Marin, Carter expects to vanquish the vicious viscous villainy in 2011. Gosh bless America.
