60GB Is the best for playing 1 and 2 because there like 90-95% Positive for it and because of how the system was build for a 80 GB
and an 80GB is like the 60GB around 80% Postive of good and I have the 80GB and every PS2 game I have used for it works great!
Only if you have the original 60gb , 20 gb or 80gb. versions. the 40gb totally eliminated the backward compatiblity on ps2 games although i blieve you can still play your ps1 games on it. but not the ps2
