okay so yeah i just bought a psp, and I’ve been trying to find out where or how to play PSP games online, i have a router at home and im connected to it and i know my game supports the feature online thing…so what do i do now?
what games do you have?Do they support infastrature(Online)?
And if your games do support online then go to multiplayer of a game and chose infastrature not ad-hoc,
ad-hoc is person to person but infastrature is online(connects to router), it should then connect you to online then you can start playing.
If your game does not surpport infastrature then i recommend you get a game called socom fireteam bravo 2 that is the BEST game for online and single player is good.
well u have a router right so now with ur psp turn it on go network settings click on the second one hit new connectin than it says wlan settings hit scan make sure on the left hand side of the psp that the wlan switch is on hit scan now if u have a router the router name will appear on the screen click that than the ssid is fine because u scanned and didnt do it mannualy so right click with directional pads now if u dont have this saved some where this going to **** hit wep u need ur wep key (this almost like a pass word) if ahve it great type it in. if have a linksys wireless router can pop the disk in skip all the stuff on how to set it up and get to the editing part and make new acounts and pass words so finnaly after that go back and do all the steps over again now when u get the wep key part u should have so type it in and move on and that will be it but make sure to do a test connection to make sure your running good.
You’ll need to boot up the game, and go to the section of the home screen that says Multiplayer. After that, choose “Infrastructure”. Once it asks you to choose a connection, set up one, by searching for available wireless networks near you, after that, you’ll be set!
