Can AVG anti virus scan psp games downloaded from ares or limewire?

AVG can scan files you downloaded, you should be able to right click the file and hit scan with AVG.
However, AVG is generally a laughing stock when it comes to security and I wouldn’t trust it’s results. Pay for a better Anti-virus.
As for your second question, it technically can’t truly clean out the virus from the file. The only real way to do that is to delete the file, so after scanning, if it says theres a virus, don’t put it on the PSP.

AVG is 10 times better than these so called gooed antivirus’s like Norton Mcfee etc…. How do i know because i tried these pay programs and got virus’s. Not so with AVG

AVG requires that you scan the program after it is downloaded. For less than $50 you can buy a very good professional application like Norton. Norton has a live scan feature which scans files as they are downloaded. This means any files you downloaded via Limewire will be scanned instantaneously. A computer is like an automobile in that it needs regular maintenance, and Anti-spyware and Anti-virus programs provide you with this. I have a couple of recommendation’s for you. Use the links at the end of this post for good starting places.
1. Download/buy a good anti-virus program such a Norton.
2. Download/buy a good Anti-spyware program. Windows Defender is free and quite useful and is available for download from the Microsoft website.
