   You and about 8 million people feel the same way, but don’t despair, 2008 is going to be the year of the PS3. While other systems are going to be in a drought, the PS3 is going to be getting quite a lot of quality games this year.

   No, I’m not disappointed, because that means the makers of the games are taking extra time to make the games, so they will be even better then if they rushed them out. I’d rather wait a few extra months for a perfect game. I don’t want to buy a game that they only took a small amount of time to make, and have it have bad graphics, glitches, freezing all the time, etc…

   There are many, MANY games coming out this year for the PS3, keep your eyes peeled. A lot of gaming industry big-wigs are even saying that this is the year for the PS3, it’s the year the PS3 is going to shine. Xbox360 already had it’s time, it released all its popular games in such a close time period, that it’s practically done. PS3 has many of its popular games coming out throughout the course of a year, and next year too.

   And also, it sounds like you bought the 40GB system. Keep in mind that the 40GB can not play PS2 games.

   i am actually very impressed how they brought the ps3 a life in 1 year.
   Drakes Fortune, COD4, Assassin’s Creed, Ratchet and Clank, Orange box, Elder Scrolls, Motorstorm, Dirt, Burnout Paradise, and a lots of more.
   and even though they are a for both the xbox and the ps3 the ps3 frame rate and graphics are way better.

   They are going to release home this year so be ready for the next update.
   wait for these games.
   GTA 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, and even more!!!
   so the expect the PS3 to rule this year.

   the main reason why the wii and ds are selling fast is:
   they have innovative games designed for the console
   they’re affordable

   ps3s have similar games to the xbox and hardly any good ones. So what great graphics isn’t everything. when mario brawl,kart and pes 08 come out, it ain’t gunno be no drought.

   I like the selection that PS3 have. I’m a HUGE Devil May Cry Fan, Guitar Hero is a good too. It seems like the system have a lot of Military based games as well as “Beat’em Up” ones. The problem you’re having (I think) is the stores really don’t have a good selection of games, try going on PlayStation official web site and you can see every game they have for the system and order it. If you still have that problem, return it and get a Wii. I see you stated that you bought it for your husband and daughter. The Wii is a more interactive game that great for families. Hope this helped

   I’m extremely impressed by the quality and selection of PS3 games in its first year and 4 months. There are TONS of must buys already and 2008 is geared up to be the year of the PS3!!!

   P.S. $400 bucks is cheap. I bought a Ps3 in 11/06 when they were $600. Be happy Sony has brought the price down and given you a game system and a blu ray player for only $400 bucks!
