In my opinion the DS games can be quite entertaining. Also the DS is portable unlike the PS2. As for games well you could try:

Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground
1 runefactory:a fantasy harvest moon; u get farming, rts, and alot of game playin $30
2 pokemon diamond or pearl
3 metroid prime hunters
4 super mario 64 ds
5 mario kart ds
6legend of zelda
Since I have a Nintendo DS I think you should choose a nintendo,but if it doesn’t work for you then PS2.If you get a nintendo then these are the best games to buy… Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Naruto(clash of the ninjas) , Final Fantasy and Puppy Luv!
