Star Wars Galaxies isn’t a full true shooter as much as it is an adventure game but it is fun.
You can play Battlefield 1942 on the internet which you can buy both of these games at best buy. Battlefield 1942 has very tight limitations for the computer though. You have to install some extra components that come with the complete collection if you want to play online.

doom 3 is a very cool shooter and can be played cooperative online or against people online, and is pretty groosome. forgive the spelling.
