all most all ps1 and ps2 games can be played on the ps3 but ps1 and ps2 games still have region lock. there you wanna play ps2 and ps1 game you can save it on the internal memory card and if you want to transfer a save data get a memory card adaptor.
yes you can. but if you are used to ps3 games, the graphics will seem like you are playing in the 1980s. you can also play cd’s & dvd’s. If the ps1&2 games dont work, they should so call up the nearest gaming store to get it fixed and then u can play all of your old games for different systems instead of buying them all over.
Yes. In fact they will look better than they do on your PS1 and PS2. The PS3 will upscale your DVD’s and PS2/PS1 games to 1080p when the PS3 is connected via HDMI to a 1080p HD display.
