HECK NO !!! I don’t even think they have a MOD chip or Firmware hack for that .. NOW he can play his PS2 games on his PS3 IF he has the backwards compatible model
No even with a mod chip boot up disk or software up date you couldn’t the hardware would never run it. I would just tell you to buy it and play it at a friends house or get a PS3
Beat AC was a great game going to have to play it again some time.

actually you could probably just go trade it in for a ps2 game. I don’t think they made a ps2 version of AC though. Made some people cry
Why not get him God of War 2, if he doesn’t already have it… if he’d like AC, he’d love GOW2

No , the ps3 games can not be played in the ps2. Assassin’s creed is not an exception. Hope you won’t have any problems with your boyfriend.
