There is a new game coming out that is only available for the Xbox 360 and I don’t have one cuz I bought the new Wii instead. But I still want to buy games for my old one on occasion. So does anyone know if they 360 games are compatible with the old Xbox?
No. U cant play the 360 games on the old xbox since it requires the new system to hold up its graphics and what nots but u can play the old xbox games on the 360.
It seems like you are out of luck. There is no way a more powerful 360 game will play in the technically weaker Xbox. If it were possible, people would be wasting a lot of money buying the new Xbox360.

you can’t. They are completely incompatible. There are some orginal xbox games you can play on the 360, but not 360 games on the old xbox.
