It works the same way that you can play gameboy advance games on gamecube. Nintendo is selling DS adapters(i forgot the name, its called something else) that connect to the wii, allowing people to play DS games on the wii.
the only thing is nothing as of now. Though threw ds wifi can do something with the wii.
its not finall yet or done. Though it be simliar to what gba did with cube

No I don’t think so. The video may have been fake or its a game that they have on both wii and nintendo ds, and they were playing the wii version.

No, there is a little section wich looks like it would fit a DS game, but that is for memory cards from your camera, to see pictures on your wii.
