How do you download games and save them on your PSP?

If you have a playstation 3 then simple. All you have to do is have a PSN account and go onto the playstation store and buy psp games then download them, then transfer them to your psp via a usb cord. Simple!! Otherwise I have no idea. And chipping your psp isn’t a good idea as well as being legal it can seriously mess it up!!!!
