and if they don’t is there a way where they can because i want to play the new grand theft auto 4 but i am not going out and buying a whole new console just for one game
No because the playstation 3 contains newer hardware that is not forward compatible. The playstation 3 also has a Blu-Ray drive whereas the ps2 does not
NO. Games designed for PS3 are tailored specifically for the PS3’s advance hardware and software. It is like trying to play Playstation 2 games on a PS1, or a Nintendo Wii game on a SNES.
obviously not, ps3 uses blu-ray this was only being thought of when ps3 was released, the only way would be to buy a ps3 or take the ps3 disc drive and put it in the ps2 which is complicated and annoying
no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS3 is wayyyy more advanced than the PS2. You need to go buy a PS3……………………………..
I would probably check on the Sony Playstation site, but i think you can play them on there I am not sure if you need like a converter program though
best to google that or as i said go to the sony playstation website just to check.
no they don’t i tryed it and nothing happened
