i live in new zealand and we have noone who pirates games so i was thinking there mihgt be a websight where you can buy PC games and send them in the post to my country
I’d be a hypocrite to criticise you, as I’ve played pirated games in the past. I don’t any more. You should realise how much damage piracy does to pc games companies. I’m not talking about the giant corporations like EAor Activision, I’m talking about the people who made PC gaming great - Id, Valve etc.
These people are not stinking rich by any stretch of the imagination. Games nowadays cost so much to develop, a company’s entire existence can depend on how well their latest game sells. Piracy is the worst for the PC market because it is so rife. It’s literally killing the pc games industry and people are moving their production to the consoles.
PC games aren’t exactly expensive either. They’re usually at least 30% cheaper than their console counterparts. Prices drop pretty quickly. There’s simply no moral reason to pirate.
Firstly no matter what county you’re in games are pirated, they’re just not nessisarily burnt, printed and sold publically. This is because it’s illegal. If a site did exsist that told you they distributed pirated games, they’d most likely be a scam to take your money and record credit card details. If you can’t afford the games of today how did you afford a computer to play them on?
