I like using the keypads instead of the keyboard and mouse when playing games on my PC but I think alot of the games do not support them. How can you find which games support them? Especially for FPS games.
Mostly all pc games support game controllers i should know i have almost every game ever made for pc. All you have to do is plug in the contrller and make sure the computer see’s the controller and then start the game and go into the setting of the game and configure the controller for what you want the buttons to do.

Check on reviews or system requirements of the game.
I have a USB Keyboard and gamepad and it works for all my games.
